Southern Right Whale

Room 4 saw a Southern right whale in the ocean it was so cool. It has barnacles hanging on them.
It was doing awesome flips, I saw 12 dolphins hanging around it. The Southern right whale was there for 3 hours, it was changing different places. It just stays there!

Finding a WALT: area

We learning about an area. I made a screencastify of a area. A area is the extent or measurement of a surface or piece of land. The width is the measurement or extent of something from side to side. A length is the measurement or extent of something from end to end, that finds you a area!

storybird is great our class loves storybird but my teacher koka terri decided  to do a poem. The rules are don't take to long and don't change words. We have been discussing about how words work together and how powerful short sentences or one-word sentences can be. storybird

Hi my name is Oliver I am year 4.  I go to Wainui Beach School my class is room 4.  I am 8 years old,I love this school because we learn, create and share. I also have friends, I was born in California. I live in Gisborne.  My dad speaks english my mum speaks english to.  I have two brothers.
