Term 3 recap

Term 3 was really good I loved it but there are a some dislikes too. I didn't really get the holes tasks because I wasn't here for the first two weeks of term three, so it was really challenging to get the priorities finished. but time went on and I got most of my priorities finished.

Playing games like Annihilation, Dodgeball and Medic is really fun, it really lets me relax after the game. I didn't really know how to play medic but now I know because it came to me overtime and now I know how to play it!

At the Marae it was really interesting and fun, there was no work or anything like that. We just had playtime and activities. I think it was REALLY fun. I couldn't believe that there was a handball activity. I loved the nachos for dinner and weetabix for breakfast we don't really have those in America because it is such a New Zealand thing.

I didn't really like art because math is my thing I am a left brainer. I am good at art on the computer like Google Drawings and Canva. I make my own pieces of art that I make up. I am like a drawer not a maker.

I love our class song, Dig it Up. I am kind of nervous and kind of excited presenting to the rest of the school! I think I am really good at the rapping part but I chose not to. I might be a shaker or a cupper (if that's a word).

In Cybersmart we made a 24 hour footprint digital map. We went to history (control H) wherever we went in the last 24 hours on the internet I put on the map.

Hi I'm Oliver I'm from America but I moved to New Zealand at 2017. I go to Wainui Beach School in Gisborne. I have a family of five me my brother my other brother my dad and my mum.

I'm really good at math like timetables subtraction and Addition And I can work out any math questions you give to me.. I enjoy in for being a learner is writing, it is really cool if you could write because you can give Interesting stories. My challenge this year is to be the the best writer in the class.

I am looking forward to my big 7 week holiday It will be so fun. I have achieved some goals this year like having better handwriting and making more interesting stories. My mum Taught me math That's why

TERM ONE REFLECTION-

This term has been fun and interesting

Because we had shared lunch and games. Why it’s interesting is because there were interesting times like discovering are school awa.

I have really enjoyed Math and the Writing

Because I love math because I’m good at it same reason with writing.

I think I have got better at Math

Because I learned my 12-20 times tables.

Next term I will need to work on my spelling

Because I thought I was good at it but I’m not!

I hope Koka Sophie do some more math worksheets and games

Because they are fun to do, makes you smarter and get to know people quickly and better.

Autumn...

Autumn looks like there is way more colour on leaves, grass and many other things. There are higher tides and more dumpy waves. Leaves are dying and the tree trunks are wet.

Autumn smells like pumpkin soup boiling and a cool breeze brushes past me. When the wind is jumping up and down it makes you cold and you sneeze!

Autumn feels like the wind is getting colder.  There are puddles everywhere to jump in, your body changes and you get colder and you need more clothes.  You feel wet sand at the beach and the daylight saving stops and the days get shorter.

Autumn tastes like pumpkin soup boiling and cooking on the stove top.  It tastes like porridge in the oven and at dinner it tastes like warm, tasty spag bol and pizza.

Autumn sounds like wind howling and it feels warmer (only when you get warm clothes on). You can feel the hard rain dripping on your wet clothes.  When it stops, the sun comes out and forms a rainbow! 

Argument of the Mysterious Gems

Point 1:

I think we shouldn't count the gems because they weren't there in the first place so we shouldn't count them.

Point 2:

We've had them for ages and now we should stop having them!

Point 3:

We might be off task and not earn them so we won't have a class celebration.

Point 4:

For the last gem we had to split it up into quarters to earn it that means it'll take ages to earn these two extras.

Point 5:

If we count them we might not have a party until Term 4!

Point 6:  

We've been good for so long and we deserve our reward!
