First Blog in Moana Learning Hub

The first 3 weeks in Moana hub was awesome I think I had a great start in here. On the first day, we were going around the classroom and asking questions to other people, for example, if somebody else is left-handed or has been to more than one school you write it down on a sheet of paper and you keep going with the questions. For our quick writes, we do something vs something, I think I can remember some of the ones we did like Sushi vs Pizza, Robots vs Aliens, Jurassic vs Ice age, Flying vs Invisibility, Chocolate vs cheese, and Unicorns Vs dragons, for the flying vs invisibility I got about 440 words in 2 sessions and I still had more to write about.

When it was like Week one on Wednesday we started up swimming for our practice on the day it is school swimming, I also past a surfing test, it was 20 lengths of the pool, the reason why we did the test is because if we are out the back surfing peacefully then a 4 meter have hit right on you and you feel like heading back to the shore you would have to swim about 5 lengths of the whole Indoor pool at the Olympic Pools. later in the week, we had Buzz groups, for our Buzz groups, we have about 5 or 6 people doing it in our group we had 6 people Wolfe, Te Atawhai, Kale' a Harry, Trey, and me. There is this game called Tension the instructions are is that our teacher tells us a subject like what 10 green vegetables in about a minute, once we are finished writing 10 green vegetables the teacher she yells out some of the most common vegetables that are green.

When it got later in the week we started doing stuff like our Waitangi Booklet, our Waitangi Booklet helps us learn about the Treaty of Waitangi Day and how it was made, our booklet is a drawing/ writing book. We also wrote our 5 goals in our writing book. Then once the teacher thinks it's good we write it on a sheet of paper then you colour it in, one of my goals were working on my long division 2x per day. The last thing I can remember is when we did our portrait, we traced a picture of ourselves then we cut our drawing out and put it on a plate that we colour in.
